Formally known as Café de Paris, the opulent event space that has played host to Judy Garland, Josephine Baker, Frank Sinatra, Grace Kelly, and many more never fails to leave a lasting impression on guests. With the grand sweeping staircase and the famous mezzanine balcony offering a birds eye view into the main ballroom festivities, Café de Paris gains its new era of life as Lío London and is set to continue to shine as one of the leading theatre, dining, corporate and entertainment event spaces in London. The space can be flexible in layout whilst still maintaining an intimate feel, being a glamorous blank canvas for dinner parties, awards ceremonies, listening parties, and many more.
The venue is gracefully split into two levels of grandeur: the wrap around mezzanine offers a birds eye, panoramic view of the ballroom floor below. Descend the iconic double staircase into the ballroom floor, where you will find the descending stage and moveable DJ booth. Both floors boast fully serviced bars that ensure your guests enjoy every moment to the fullest. The mezzanine lends itself perfectly to Champagne and canapé receptions with an overall standing capacity of 160. With the stage risen, the ballroom floor has a seated capacity of 156 and standing capacity of 450. Having the stage full descended, the seated capacity increases to 196 and standing to 550. The whole venue has a seated capacity of 250 and standing capacity of 700. We take pride in the venue keeping an intimate ambience, even accommodating up to 700+ guests, no one ever feels distant from the epicentre of excitement.

How Disappointing. We just spent over £700 for a table of 2, initially having an amazing time. The service was great, so was the staff, the food, the show and the performers. The lighting was truly outstanding. However, we were treated very poorly by the security twice for accidentally seating on the stage for no less than a few seconds while dancing. It came to the point that we had to leave the venue as a result of their confrontational behaviour. It is absolutely ludicrous and unacceptable to be disrespected after having had such a good time. It RUINED our night completely. It’s almost as if it felt wrong to be ourselves, 2 gay men dancing the night away. It felt contradictory to what the message of the show is all about. Love and acceptance… none of it was present in the way we were treated by the security. We fully regret having spent our time and money there…

The club night was meh, it was pretty empty according to the capacity for the place even though popular DJs were playing. Music and Ambience was good. Although the door staff was very rude for no reason, couldn't even smoke a ciggerate in peace as the door staff had problem with everything and were very rude to talk to. Maybe not good hospitality is the reason this Club is usually empty. Very downgraded experience as compared to Lios Ibiza or Lios Mykonos.
