What a fabulous hotel. Beautiful decor in the lobby and bar. Excellent rooms, clean, and very nicely decorated. Outstanding staff. Very informative and helpful. Would definitely come back.

I stayed at the best western earlier this year and had a splendid stay. Affordable luxury indeed. Excellent location, smooth and helpful accommodating check in. As well as an excellent room. Of course there are some building works next door but they state that clearly and it makes sense why such a high end hotel would have such affordable prices. There was a very minor issue with one of the staff members being a bit rude in her attitude. But I asked her if she was in a bad mood and she perked up immediately. Ultimately when people complain about staff service I wonder how much their sense of entitlement has lead them to perceive offense where there is none. Hotel staff take pride in service and that’s what you pay for - an employee. It’s important not to assume that they are therefore your servant or someone you can mistreat. They are human too. That being said - I’m on my way to spend six nights there. Im really hoping I have a similar standard of stay. Because some of the reviews here have gotten me worried. Some customers seem to have had the opposite experience to me. Don’t let me down this time Best Western! Another 5 star review awaits you ;) I’ll be checking in at 7pm tonight and documenting my visit on social media.

Nice location, 5 min from a metro station (Central Line), near Hyde Park. Nice room. Nice breakfast, with a lot of choice. On the other hand, very poorly soundproofed. The room staff comes at 8:30 a.m. or at 2 p.m. It's complicated to know when you can be present or not. And they don't speak English. The reception staff were not always pleasant. The woman who checked us in on the first day was incredible. On the other hand, Sofia was very rude: she spoke badly to customers. Her haughty attitude needs to be reviewed, and if she doesn't like her job, just change it... and SMILE !

Worst experience ever in my life. I went to England for couple weeks and I had to stay in this hotel for two nights. I booked a reservation in this hotel but experienced something really bad there, the receptionist ( blond hair ) sorry I don’t have her name was very much racist, rude and aggressive to me. I go England often but never had to face something like this. I think hotel management should look into this to assure their guests satisfaction.
