Love this hotel. It's in a brilliant location with a plethora of bars and shops surrounding it. The staff are welcoming with a genuine smile. The bar/restaurant...where do I start...the food is sublime. Hats off to the Chef, the menu has something for everyone. The Guinness is perfect and the choice of wines will cater for most palettes. The rooms are well appointed and the beds comfy. The concierge is really helpful if you need advice or recommendations. Lots to see and do locally. There is a great vibe to this hotel and I look forward to my next stay.

This hotel is way past its prime. The rooms and changing room facilities of the gym were filthy. There was a toenail on our bathroom floor on arrival. When we went down for breakfast at 7am the buffet wasn’t ready and the bowls and plates were again, not cleaned properly. The room was cold. We had dinner at the hotel on our first night. It was terrible. Needless to say we didn’t return on the second night. Plenty of great hotels in Belfast. No need to stay at the Clayton.

It was really lovely. The room was so quiet it was like no one else was staying in the hotel. The hours for breakfast and the pool were great. The pool was amazing after a long day at a conference. The ladies room was a bit dirty if you wanna pass that on but the pool was well kept. And the other small complaint is the breakfast staff lacked customer service. They were a bit unfriendly and missing most of the time. I had to find a member of staff to get a pot of coffee. The breakfast itself was nice tho. Your reception staff were also very friendly and accommodating. I’d stay again.

We have stayed in the Clayton a few times. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are well equipped and breakfast is fab! Would recommend this to anyone planning to visit Belfast even for a night out. It's central and close to all amenities
