Took my mother here for a couple of days. Excellent location, just towards the south end of Bermondsey Street. Comfortably close to London bridge station, but free from the worst tourist bustle. Feels like proper London & the views are excellent!

We went to London for my birthday and brought our dog so we needed a dog friendly hotel. They had a bed, a toy and treats ready for him, which we really appreciated ❤️ the whole team is so kind and helpful. My boyfriend wanted to surprise me with a cake for my birthday, but we weren't at the hotel when it arrived so they stored it in the hotel kitchens fridge which he talked to them about before. I wouldn't have been mad if they hadn't done that since we have no right using their fridge, but it really shows how much they care about their guests :) I also got a handwritten birthday card. The breakfast was also great since there were more than enough options and it was delicious. There's also an open kitchen so they can make you something if you ask for it. The service during breakfast was also amazing, very nice people :) The only thing that wasn't perfect was that the room got too warm for us even on the lowest AC setting, but we get too warm very easily, so that's more of an Us issue and not worth removing a whole star for. Also, the location of the hotel definitely made up for it, since it's very quiet at night, a Sainsbury is right across the hotel, there's several bus stops very close to the hotel so you can get everywhere easily and a small park is across the street so taking our dog out for a short walk before bed was very easy. But there's also enough restaurants, coffee shops etc. in the area so you can still do something fun if you don't want to go to the city center. We 100% recommend the hotel ❤️

303 was scruffy. In need of a thorough clean. The air-con was noisy (I had to turn it off). The shower head was disgusting enough to effect it's performance. I had to get up in the night to sort the toilet that was continuously filling. The pillows were ridiculously soft. I've had firmer candy floss/cotton candy. They'll also steal your stuff if you leave it in the room. No matter what it is. And make sure you get your "deposit" refunds of 25quid a time.

This hotel is worn out, carpets lifted away from the base boards, showers that leak all over the bathroom floors, heat that barely works, TVs with channels that won't change, rooms desperate for a coat of paint with owners too cheap to do more than try to spot apply cover up...it goes on. There is zero air exchange in the rooms, like zero. The breakfast was passable. Staff did what they could with what they have to work with. The price was very high for what you get. My advice is don't bother.
