We stayed here as we had tickets to the ballet at the Hippodrome. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We enjoy our tea and the staff were only too pleased to give us extra tea, milk and biscuits. The room was extremely clean, breakfast good and we couldn’t have been any closer to the theatre if we tried, a one minute walk. It ticked all the boxes and to get such smiley staff, especially Raju, was an extra bonus. Thank you Ibis Birmingham.

We stayed for one night for a work event. The room was clean and perfect for our needs. The staff were lovely, both at reception and at breakfast, especially Ingrid a really cheerful lady to welcome you. Our only complaint was the room is so very hot and with the window open it was so noisy all night long, even on a Monday .

We loved the meeitng room - some great equipment there. the food was also lovely! The only thing that wasn't so great for us is that we booked a number of rooms as well and the nights' sleep wasn't good at all due to the noise from the clubs!

I had a problem on arrival with the room but the staff was really professional, efficient and kind and gave me a new room straight away. The rooms have all the necessary basics, just what you need for a short stay. The lounge is nice and breakfast is delicious continental. Ingrid was exceptionally nice from the morning crew, thank you for your hospitality.

Very good location. The reception looks nice, but facilities in hotel room is simple and a little bit old style. There were some small marks on bathroom door. I didn't feel it have been cleaned properly. I stayed 3 nights. The first 2 nights stayed in a room near pub, very noisy. Music didn't stop until 4am ish. One of the staffs finally managed to help me change to another room for the last night. I had very good sleep at the last night. They have quieter rooms which are facing another road. If someone have to stay there. Better ask in advance. For the people who don't mind about noises, this hotel should be fine.
