If buildings could speak, Bisham Abbey would have a fascinating story to tell. The 800 year old Abbey was once a home for the English nobility and aristocracy and is now part of one of Sport England’s National Sports Centres used as a prestigious training venue for over 20 different sports and organisations including the English Institute of Sport, England Hockey, Living Tennis and the England Football and Rugby Associations. The Abbey is also available for private hire for functions, corporate events, conferences and weddings.

The Sonning room accommodates up to 40 delegates and is ideal for smaller meetings.
The room includes use of a 65” screen utilising the latest touchscreen technology.

I love this place. For some reason never come up on booking. Pros: rooms very nicely decorated Staff are very nice and helpful, especially the night manager Breakfast must be the best I had yet in a hotel Cons: not always available

It was a nice place to stay up until a few months ago, the room is basically an old style travelodge room, extremely basic, cheap and cheerful - but they’ve gotten carried away with the pricing now. Rooms were £50-70 a night up until a few months ago and now are always £110 to £130… Hilton prices for travelodge rooms.

Great sporting venue shame about the rooms. Very dated, clean but the bed was awful. The breakfast was good. Come on Bisham Abbey sort these rooms out for our elite athletes.
