Plush cinema and usually very interesting range of films outside of big budget productions. The ticket prices match the trim interior and high-end screens. I've found the basement area - where the screens are located - a bit dim at times, plus the men's restroom is more or less as I remember prior to this cinema's refurbishment.

About a month ago I went in to check out prices and if there were any memberships, etc. but when I walked in no one said anything, I went to the bar area, and staff just looked at me and continued their conversations. So I asked how I buy tickets and they just responded with very short cold answers. I did not feel very welcome. I live right across the street and never returned. It’s a pity bc they seem to have really cool films. The environment seems very stuck up. I wish the were more inviting...

Curzon Bloomsbury is my favourite cinema in London: its elegant, tasteful design is coupled with an amazing selection of movies, which tend to be independent or acclaimed at international festivals. What makes it a truly special and unique place is the Bertha Dochouse screen, which exclusively shows documentaries. They also have regular Q&A sessions with the directors, and their staff is very polite.

This cinema is in the iconic Brunswick Centre, with the screens all being one or two levels below the entrance level. Curzon is the most art house of London cinema groups and this is their most art house cinema. It has bars on all three levels and it's also a good place to go for a drink even if you're not going to the cinema, especially in good weather, when you can sit on the outside terrace overlooking the park on the other side of the road. It had a major refurbishment about three years ago. It was previously called the Curzon Renoir. The biggest screen is still called the Renoir and is lovely. Unfortunately the seating in the smaller screens is cramped. I tend to only go to movies here that are shown in the Renoir screen, unless they are not being shown anywhere else.

Really trendy Cinema,part of the Curzon chain.Upstairs there's a big Bar, outside seating area and a desk where you can purchase the tickets.Two floors downstairs the Screens,all rather small but very well kept, another Bar and the restrooms. The only odd thing was the lighting in the Ladies cubicles: I entered a red one and I had to let my eyes adjust for a minute! Overall the Staff is polite and friendly and the place is worth a visit.
