March 2024Staying locally for a few nights and popped in for something to eat, nice pub atmosphere, very attentive staff and nice food, burger was really tasty. Large range of beers on tap. It was a Thursday and they have live music so pretty busy

February 2024I really like this pub, and it hurts to write this review - as the food is usually great - but I just paid 17.50 for the most disappointing chicken burger... I'd had a chicken burger here (as well as other delicious things) a little while back, and it was well worth the higher price as it was outstanding. This was poor.. average bun, from frozen breaded chicken that was dry and chewy, piece of tomato, lettuce, mayo and ok chips dropped on a plate. I genuinely like this pub a lot, and hope this is seen as a constructive could do better (particular for the price) and hope that quality increases/this was an off day.
