I was judged of lying of Wanting to go to the loo. My friend was allowed to go, and the door man with a tattoo on his head told me that I was lying of wanting to go in (lying of wanting to go to the toilet) and therefore I was not allowed. Plus he told me that I was too ugly to go in and that only pretty girls are allowed. Besides of being a gender unfriendly environment- the door staff proofed to be even more discriminating. I would not recommend this pace I you’re in an urgent need of safety.

We enjoyed an exceptional Sunday lunch at the Wenlock and Essex yesterday. But ensure you have a good appetite as the portions of free range lamb (cooked 3 ways), the ‘special’ double-boned pork joint, and chicken, plus all the trimmings and gravy were very generous. Fantastic value, friendly, courteous and attentive staff and manager. Can’t recommend this establishment highly enough!

Lovely spot to spend the evening with your friends, cool vibe during the week with really good cocktails and nice food. Big party vibe in the weekends with a hidden room at the back with a funky dancefloor!

Nice vibe, most staff are so lovely and attentive (especially Sam,really good server), music is good. HOWEVER, be very careful when paying by card because other servers WILL try to overcharge you. £21 for a double and a single? Don't think so.

I love that place!! The stuff is really professional and helpful, there are some many different, delicious cocktails 🍹 so everyone can find something for themselves! I’ll definitely go there again
