We didn't stay overnight. We went to have a meal. Lovely Indian menu. Dessert seemed a little pricey, but all was delicious.

Nice hotel! They have a beautiful courtyard to enjoy your coffee. The staff was great also .

On arrival we were greeted by Philip. He was so friendly and attentive and immediately made us feel at home. The rest of the reception staff were of the same genre nothing was too much trouble. Sujoy the restaurant manager again was first class nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly visit again in the future.

The room was very cold when we got there and basically stayed that way. It was a large room so the single portable oil filled radiator simply didn't cut it. It would have been nice if the actual heating system had been on for a while prior to our arrival. But even when it was running it didn't seem very efficient. The TV remote didn't work (and was not just that the batteries were flat as we tried replacing them) so it was not possible to watch TV. But the worst part was the breakfast. Here's something for you and all other hotels to take on board: BREAKFAST BUFFETS DON'T WORK! The food was lukewarm at best and cold by the time we'd taken a couple of mouthfuls. And if breakfast buffets are a bad idea, toast making conveyor belt machines are worse! The toast is always either anaemic, or burnt, or only done on one side. Yours did one side OK without touching the other so the toast had to be put through twice. But the machine was so slow it just helped ensure the lukewarm food was colder still. Scrap the whole idea. Get some waitresses in and cook breakfasts to order. And no, I don't care if that costs more! Is the hotel being run for your convenience or ours? In any case, if I'm paying £170 a night to stay somewhere that's quite enough as it is.
