January 2024We had a lovely stay to celebrate my partner's birthday. King deluxe room was large, clean and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. The staff were warm and friendly, although there were a couple of issues with information not being forthcoming. E.g we were not told at check in to make dinner reservations for restaurant despite being on half board basis. It all worked out fine though the young male waiter at dinner was really sweet and efficient. We also asked for tea in the room which he we didn't get although we didn't chase it up either. We found the spa too loud and not big enough for the number of people there. Overall, a really nice stay though and would definitely return. X

December 2023Pretty good room size, clean and hygienic. Mattress was perfect and we slept well on both nights. Warm and cosy. Rooms were services daily and two bottles of water was provided (nice touch) For a Hilton, it was strange that their restaurant wouldn't be open on Sundays for dinner... Although the bar is open!! Otherwise a great property, ample complimentary parking space. Staff at the reception were cheerful and welcomed with a warm cookie.

January 2024Stayed for a few days on different occasions. Check in really smooth and the staff very welcoming. Room in the old part of the building was cold and a bit of a snug fit. Room in the newer part of the building much more spacious but the shower was terrible. Food at breakfast and lunch is amazing, compliments to the chefs! Staff in the restaurant extremely friendly and helpful. Gym and spa area is well equipped. Open to members of the public so can get busy. Could do with modernization in areas. All in all a nice hotel.

March 2024If it wasn’t a three hour drive we would have left and gone home. Room we were initially given had mold and damp all over walls and dirty and dusty bathroom and lamps. With no apology we where then moved to a different room which i can hardly consider better. Mentioning this to staff is pointless as we tried to and didnt really get anywhere let alone an apology even after showing photos. Thankfully there was The Clock Tower right next to it where it was clean and friendly and good food. Never one to complain but the bare minimum would be a room with no mold and a bit of an apology.
