Trunkwell House Hotel and its magnificent marquees offer one of the best venues for weddings in the Thames Valley and together with our many years of experience we have everything to make your perfect day. Trunkwell House Hotel has recently under gone a full refurbishment with a beautiful 7 bedrooms now onsite available to be used. The Marquee is set in beautiful manicured gardens overlooking 34 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside.
This unique venue has been designed to create magical ambience and quality cuisine that is synonymous with Trunkwell House. The Marquee can cater for from 80-200 people in style and we can offer help and advice in creating and organising the perfect wedding day for you. Choose from a huge selection of sumptuous menus or make up your suggestions for our Chef. Both The Marquee and Trunkwell House are licensed to conduct wedding ceremonies.
Trunkwell House is situated within 34 acres of the beautiful Berkshire countryside in the village of Beech Hill, Reading. We are an exclusive country venue privately owned with space for small VIP meetings to large corporate dinner dances and team building days. Our permanent marquees are situated within the grounds of the hotel which allows for glamourous and exclusive entertaining. The Marquee can cater for 80-350 people in style, our team can who have over 25 years of experience can make sure your event is everything you planned it to be, and more!

December 2023Amazing experience! This is our third year in a row at Trunkwell for our Christmas party and we will certainly be back next year. The booking process is easy, all staff a friendly and easy to communicate with. The food and entertainment is great and the dance floor is always good fun. Could not recommend enough! The venue is beautiful with great entertainment, we have never had so many of us on the dancefloor! The menu was good and so was the service. A highlight for us was the dodgems and photographer on site that took some beautiful photos to remember this spectacular evening by. Don't think twice to book Trunkwell House for your next function. December 2023My 5 stars doesn't apply to rooms as I didn't stay but came for a company Chrostmas Party. It was such a good night and enjoyed by all of team. The dodgems and photographer were really nice touches and the entertainment was excellent. It really provided a total experience for us! The bar area was spacious and the staff brilliant. Personally I really enjoyed the food but I know lots of people have different tastes. A really exceptional evening! Only issue is the queue of taxis to get in and out. That probably needs a little more coordination but did not not affect the enjoyment of my night!
