In the heart of Glasgow stands the historic Grand Central Hotel. A much-loved icon in the city. The Grand Central Hotel has a very exciting 2020 ahead. IHG’s new upscale lifestyle brand, voco, is coming to Glasgow following the hotel’s multi-million-pound refurbishment.
Directly adjoining Central Station, the Grand Central hotel will become the first voco in Scotland and is currently refurbishing all 230 bedrooms, with a further 13 rooms being added. I've been there for 4 days during a small trip with my boyfriend. The building is historical but has modern facilities. I had a request on my boyfriend's birthday and they came up with champagne and chocolate strawberry and a personal note, it was a very wonderful surprise, he loved it. Even when we forgot our keys in the safe in our room, they were very kind and promised to look after. We are now waiting but are confident that they will find them and send it to us.

This is a fine hotel right in the concorse of Central Station. Have to be honest and say we didn't actual stay here ourselves but the mother in law and brother in law did and having seen their rooms, they were very spacious with one have the largest bathroom you could imagine. Pic are of the most amazing chandelier I've ever seen (all be it in need of a good dust)

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they couldn’t have done more to make our stay a good experience. Dinner was exceptional. Fantastic location. Very spacious room. We would definitely stay here again, thank you for everything you did for us, especially to Lesley and Susan.

Check in and check out were efficient and hassle free. Really quiet room with comfy bed. Breakfast was great and the staff really helpful.
