Went to a wake, held a the hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The spread they put on was excellent, as was the presentation. Spoke to several folks who stayed overnight, they were impressed with the dinner and rooms. It's a beautiful location, very peaceful.

I met a friend here for coffee and a catch-up. It is such a beautiful hotel with a lovely relaxed vibe. We had good coffees with a homemade biscuit. Then we tried non-alcholic gins which again were very nice.

We had a 3 course Christmas meal, and they offered vegan options, and in comparison to all the meals the rest of our party received it was rather ridiculous, a giant plate of meat and veg versus a plate of a tiny pile of mushrooms with a sauce, not even and veg to go with it. 10% of most parties these days are plant based, so some more effort and genuine consideration would be appreciated. Otherwise, a lovely venue
