Dating back to the 17th Century, The Ragged Cot is a traditional Cotswolds coaching inn set beside 600 acres of National Trust common land, with 9 contemporary bedrooms.

April 2024Foodchamps were our wedding caterers in May 2022, so it’s only fitting that every year since we have visited the Ragged Cot to experience their delicious food and warm service. We had the three course Sunday lunch menu, which was absolutely delicious; the food arrived in good intervals and the staff were very attentive. Even the dogs got a bowl of water on arrival and the team were really welcoming of them too. Highly recommend the ragged cot for lunch, dinner or a weekend stay, the grounds are beautiful.

From the warm ambiance to the mouthwatering dishes, every aspect of our visit exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, the service was impeccable. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. Misi, the owner, showcased their culinary prowess with each dish served. The roast itself was cooked to perfection, with tender, succulent meat that practically melted in our mouths. Accompanied by perfectly roasted vegetables, fluffy Yorkshire puddings, and rich gravy, every bite was a symphony of flavors that left us craving for more.

March 2024Sunday Lunch (Mother's Day). Good food. Service attentive and efficient. As I'm an EV driver and this is a destination place it would be nice to be able to charge the car while enjoying dinner or supper. Go Zero has a range of revenue share solutions for businesses who could benefit from offering car charging.
