We went to watch the jousting with our 4 year old granddaughter. Despite the weather(which was Bank Holiday cold!) we had a lovely time. The walk from the car park to the the castle went through woodlands which were impressive on their own. The whole day was well organised and the Castle and grounds provided an excellent background for the event. Well worth a visit.

The castle is pretty cool, with a few floors to visit, but there isn't a lot to see inside. It's set in some nice grounds. We saw a jousting event which was awesome and highly recommended, but the castle itself is just OK.

Beautiful beautiful castle and grounds. We went on a day where they had medieval jousts and a fair - this meant that it was visit than normal, but the shows were fabulous. Kids and adults were really involved in the shows and the back drop off the castle is just magnificent. The castle grounds are wonderful and there is currently a sculpture walk to enjoy as well. Really recommended.

What a fantastic wedding venue. Owners and staff will do absolutely everything to make the day run smoothly. A faultless wedding in an amazing place

We went to see the jousting and the castle today. Amazing place, beautiful setting. The jousting was a lot of fun to watch. A very good day out. Now I must nap.
