The Cinema is large enough to accommodate various screens, however, the sound system is really bad. Especially if you're watching movies that include music and songs, the background sounds are disturbed because of the settings of the speakers within the Cinema screen. I hope the Cinema works on its Sound system.

I go here every week and have been into almost all the screens in the premise - standard, Superscreen and 4DX. 4DX and SS are ultimate experience. The standard ones need a renovation big time..most screen seats are torn, untidy and few screens smell urine and pungent. Cineworld should really work on this. vue on the other hand provides recliner seats in the same price and why Cineworld could not upgrade their seating arena.

My partner and I are cineworld unlimited members which we love and it means we’ve been to the cinema so much more this year than usual and love it as a cheap and easy few hours out. Unlimited is great, but it’s a shame that the cinema isn’t up to that standard. The size and location of cineworld Cardiff are great, and the staff are usually friendly and helpful, but these days it feels so run down and shabby. One of the escalators has been broken since Barbenheimer and there seem to be no plans to fix it, it’s also really dirty and gross. A few times recently lights have been left on too long into performances and the screen temperature is a complete pot luck - it’s either freezing cold or boiling hot. It’s still a not bad experience, and we love the films we see here, but it’s desperately in need of an upgrade.

As a cineworld unlimited card holder I can watch as many films in Cardiff for a one off fee plus 25% of in-house snacks for black card holders. Staff are extremely helpful during my visit. I recommend the 4DX screen to experience motion, light, scent, wind and water.
