If you are thinking of going here for sixth form, don't bother. The head of sixth form doesn't bother to show up for results day (ever) so why should you? The senior leadership team at Haverstock are on a constant power trip. The teaching is sub-standard. Studying sociology at Haverstock was also horrible, we didn't even have a proper classroom which was extremely destructive! Also, from what I have heard from many friends, avoid the mathematics department like the plague. They have a certain philosophy which is paradoxical. If you do well, it's down to the teachers, whereas if you do bad it's down to yourself. When in actual reality, students only do well at Haverstock since they have to self-teach everything from day 1. Avoid the sciences like the plague apart from Physics as they have some great teachers over there. Haverstock do not publish their A levels results for good reason (not many people pass let alone get amazing grades) End of 2nd year (of sixth form) are an absolute joke. There is no point to them. If you have read this far and still want to go to Haverstock, I suggest you start to self-teach from day 1 and learn the system so you don't have power hungry senior leadership staff hound you for no reason. However, get amazing grades in your first year (AS) and you can walk around like a celebrity! Just take a look at their website, it's still stuck in the early 00's!
