Knockderry house offers weddings on an exclusive use basis for between 30 and 50 guests. This means that you and your guests are the only residents in the hotel throughout your wedding day. Booking with Knockderry on an exclusive use basis allows the Knockderry team to focus all of their attention to ensure your day is a success. Knockderry’s exclusive use package includes accommodation and breakfast for 30 guests in one of their 15 bedrooms for two nights during your wedding celebrations. All rooms are warm and inviting with an individual style of their own. The bedrooms include the Library Suite which is complimentary to the wedding couple, Master Rooms, Kings and Doubles with most having inviting views of Loch Long and the Arrochar ‘Alps’ beyond.
Food & Beverage is a key aspect of the Knockderry experience. Your wedding package would include a welcome meal for 30 guests the night before your wedding, breakfast for the residents guests mornings, Prosecco and canapés after your ceremony shortly followed by a 4 course wedding meal. Knockderry prides itself on using only the best local & Scottish ingredients.
Suited on the banks of Loch Long, approximately 15 minutes from Loch Lomond & Trossaches national park Knockderry House is suited in an incredible scenic area. There is a wealth of sightseeing and activities for you and your guest to explore during your time in the local area. Knockderry is approximately 45 minutes’ drive from Glasgow airport which gives your and guest great access to Scotland’s main airport.
Knockderry House recently won the most Romantic Hotel of the year award at the 2016 Scottish Hotel Awards and has been nominated in 2017 for the fine dining restaurant of the year and also Country House Hotel of the year awards.

February 2024Lovely location, beautiful hotel with comfortable furnishings. Staff always helpful, attentive and extremely friendly, nothing too much trouble. Great selection at breakfast, well appointed room and plenty of parking spaces. A wonderful stay and will be back. Highly recommended when in the area.

October 2022We stayed at Knockderry country house for one night at the start of our 1 week road trip around Scotland. I was a little skeptical when I booked due to the low price compared to other places. I booked the cozy double so I was expecting something to resemble a cupboard with a bed in it! I was pleasantly surprised! The location is idyllic, very quiet with views over the loch which can be enjoyed with a drink on the outside seating. We were greeted by Laura, who is lovely. She made the visit memorable and nothing seemed too much trouble. The hotel is very comfortable, the drawing room for drinks in the evening to the dining room which we had a evening meal which was very good The breakfast was very good aswell. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area

November 2022This was a lovely stay. I wish I had booked more nights. Our room was beautiful, and the view was amazing. The only downside was it's kind of far away from everything, but if you're looking for a quiet, romantic getaway... it's perfect. The food was amazing too.
