From your very first enquiry through to the wedding day itself, your very own dedicated wedding co-ordinator will be on hand to help you with your plans and preparations. We have an exceptional team at the hotel including our brilliant banqueting manager who is happy to meet with you and act as your toast master for the day.
The hotel is licensed to hold civil ceremonies in two wonderful function suites. The Crick Suite is ideal for small, intimate events with 25 guests, while the Stanford Suite is perfect for larger ceremonies with up to 120.
Following your ceremony, the Albany Suite can seat up to 120 guests for your wedding breakfast. The suite can be dressed with stunning centrepieces, starlit backdrop, chair covers and sashes for your meal before being transformed for an evening reception. Many of our packages include a disco and DJ to help you and your guests celebrate into the night.
The hotel offers four wedding packages which have been designed to suit a range of requirements and budgets. For a more personal day, we are happy to create a bespoke package for you. All of the packages include discounted accommodation for your guests.

July 2024Rooms are surprisingly good for an older hotel, clearly been refurbished the rooms are a bit smaller than average but perfectly serviceable. Food is as you'd expect really, not Michelin star but it's a Holiday inn. Staff were attentive and despite us springing a booking of 12 people on them they were helpful and served everything in a relatively timely fashion. Breakfast was also as you'd expect with good choices, only slight blemish is that the coffee machine could do with being serviced or taken out to pasture as it's a bit lethargic and spluttery! All that said I'd stay here again for sure.

August 2024The young girl at the reception did not want to explain anything. We asked her to write the hours of breakfast and dinner on the envelope from the key - she refused. She refused to take cash. She did not even tell us where the room was, not to mention the procedure for using the pool and other features. The same situation with the girl at the bar. Apparently they are relatives and this is an echo of nepotism. At the same time, it should be noted that all the other staff is pleasant and smiling.
