Loved this place... Staff very friendly and helpfull

Would have given this place 5 stars but the service was so slow. There was one member of staff behind the bar on a Friday night and we waiting 25mins for 4 cocktails. Cocktails were delicious though and the atmosphere was pretty chilled. There are boardgames and cards, which we played while we waited for drinks.

Found this hidden gem (don't usually get this far along Deansgate) after attempting several other venue's along the way - refused (party of 6, saw many more larger groups than ours!!!!) LOTS of empty tables in said venues refusing entry. Asked at Lock 91 - they were busy & said we could have the only available table, for an hour - this was perfect for us & gratefully accepted. Table service, prompt & efficient. Definitely be returning.

My wedding reception was held here, if you're looking for a rustic style venue in the city centre - this is an excellent choice. We had the outdoor terrace/an inside room/bar/toilets all private for our party. Its nicely decorated so not much need to worry about decorating too much. Alex was very helpful all night, as were the 2 bartenders. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us all comfortable. However this is not 5 stars for a reason - We were told we could only use their caterers, so I waited months until they had arranged their caterer to then have the caterer cancel less than 4 weeks before my wedding. I understand this is not directly Lock91s fault but the manager Andi handled it terribly. He offered no apology or alternatives and said I should find something myself and cover all costs which would have been far more than we were originally paying. I manage a restaurant where we regularly host events so we we were able to have our meal there thankfully or my wedding would have been ruined. I suggest Lock91 look in to how some managers are interacting with customer's, as it was amazing besides that.

Amazing bar staff. The bartender, Alex, made an absolutely amazing Bloody Mary. Sadly, you don't get many places that can make a Bloody Mary from scratch, but Alex took the time to do so. It was hands down, literally the best cocktail I've had in the last ten years. Will definitely be returning soon. It's worth the price you pay. 11/10
