The Electric Cinema, Screen One

The Electric Cinema is one of Birmingham’s most exciting venues. The stunning red and black interiors of our screen rooms and the original art deco chic of our lounge and cocktail bar makes for a most memorable event, whatever the occasion. Our rooms are available to hire and lend themselves to a range of opportunities, be it corporate conferencing or children’s birthday parties.

Established in 1909, the Electric Cinema is the UK's oldest working cinema. It is situated in the heart of Birmingham just 30 seconds away for Birmingham New Street. This boutique cinema has now been restored back to a luxury standard boasting fully licensed screenings rooms and an artdeco bar.

Both of our screenings rooms are available for hire and we have hosted a wide variety of events from training/away days, corporate events, product launches, private parties, premieres, Q&As, weddings and professional screenings.

This screening room is on the ground floor and has full disabled access to the room. We also have a range of catering options - please message me for details.

Please note we charge for the room per hour and boast bespoke packages to suit your venue needs and budget. Availability is all subject to agreement from the manager as the schedule must be balanced alongside public screenings.
