My husband & I were gifted a Champagne afternoon tea. We booked for 2pm & arrived around 10 mins early. It was a lovely drive in down the driveway, then we reached Grinkle. What a lovely building & grounds. We talked to the gtoundsman, who gave us a bit of history & spoke of celebraties, who'd stayed here. We were greeted at reception with a warm welcome. A waitress came & showed us to the conservatory part of the building & we were given a choice of tables. We made our selections & not long after our tea was brought to us & then our afternoon tea. Everything was so delicious & well presented. We thoroughly enjoyed it all. Afterwards, we had our champagne, strawberries & chocolate pot, in the sunshine on the terrace. We will definitely come here again & can highly recommend either for yourself or as a gift. Well done everyone & thank you for making our first visit a lovely one.

Lovely hotel positioned in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by magnificent trees and open spaces. It's an ideal place to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and tranquility. And it's dog friendly too!

Stayed in the cottage for a friend's wedding, lovely place, bed was absolutely awful, may as well of slept on the floor it was that hard. Prices of drinks was ridiculous, adding a gratuity onto every drinks order is a joke

Beautiful gardens. They could be enjoyed better if there was a path through the grounds marked out. Friendly staff. Food is OK. One night was better than the previous night.
