WOW I have booked for me and my girlfriend to stay at Eastwell Manor in April as a nice one night get away and I have truly been blown away by the customer service AND WE HAVEN'T EVEN STAYED YET ! Specifically I want to say a HUGE thank you to Shelby and Cassie. The ladies have made this booking experience truly special and have helped me book what is going to be a wonderful stay. Their customer service was excellent (Literally like no other I have experienced with other hotels) Thank you ladies, you are amazing and we look forward to seeing you in April when we come to stay !

We stayed for two evenings at Eastwell Manor and had a great time. The rooms are simple but more than sufficient and finished to a high standard. The spa was enjoyable but fairly busy between the evening times we were able to enter. We sadly weren’t provided with robes and it was slightly confusing on how to use the spa (bring your own towels etc) but once we had worked this out, it was very easy to use. We had dinner both evenings and breakfast both mornings in the restaurant. The food here was fantastic and really made our stay very enjoyable. In particular Morgan’s service for dinner was brilliant. He stood out for us as providing fantastic service and was very engaging throughout. Overall, we had a great time and definitely will be looking to visit again in the future.

Took my mum for a spa day at the famous Champneys so obviously expectations were high! Unfortunately it did not live up to those. The place needs a bit of love and tlc. In the spa there is exposed and chipped wood work that would not take a lot to fix. No one maintaining the areas eg tidying up, wiping down the sides of the pool areas. Earwig type thing in the changing rooms. Plates in the breakfast area were dirty. Glasses lots of water marks. Relaxation areas not tidied up regularly. Just really disappointed and won’t be returning, maybe one of the other branches area better?! Food and staff were lovely.

Quality of food and drink was excellent; breakfast in particular was outstanding. The ambiance downstairs was enjoyable. Room was lovely - large, full of character with wonderful views and a very comfy bed. Face to face service was welcoming but there were a number of muddles - pre-booking was clunky, it was hard to get clear explanations of what was available in the offers, we had paid for early check in but no-one explained that we needed to take robes down to the spa which meant one of us had to walk back in the pouring rain to get them. When we returned to our room much later we found two tote bags with two more robes had been left in our room. It's clear that these should have been there on our arrival. When we returned home we found we'd been wrongly double charged for our final payment for our evening meal which has taken time for us to evidence in order to resolve. The spa itself did not meet expectations. Parts of the changing rooms were really tired and it was poor that there weren't Champneys branded quality shampoos/body wash available in the showers. The showers and loos were really below par. The pool area itself was pleasant but quite cramped and noisy. There was no hot drink available in the relaxation room.

A disappointing and underwhelming experience. As other reviews have pointed out, the hotel and spa facilities are in major need of an upgrade. Mouldy bathrooms, mould in the pools, tiles peeling off floors and walls and damp everywhere causing paint to peel off, too. Not helped by the fact our room didn't look properly cleaned with dust everywhere and previous guests belongings (small perfume bottle and medicine) found in the room. We booked a full body massage each and they were terrible, to say the least. Untrained staff who barely touched you and my masseuse ended my massage with "Ok brace yourself, lights are coming on!". The spa was also packed with nowhere to relax and there was no hot water to use the spa showers before and after entering the pool. Food at dinner was nice, but we waited over 45mins between entree and main and we saw other tables receive their sides 30mins before their accompanying mains then arrived. Had we not had a voucher, we would have asked for money back. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially not for the price.
