The Crypt At Bleeding Heart, Exclusive Hire

For an exceptional setting The Crypt in Ely Place is a intimate venue for a wedding for between 50 to 120 guests, and 200 for a standing reception.
This 600 year old Crypt in St Etheldreda’s, located in Hatton Garden - London's famous jewellery quarter, has a history of celebration and has been holding celebrity parties here ever since King Henry VIII held is three day wedding feast here in 1531.
In a truly historic atmosphere, the Crypt provides you with a wonderfully unique combination of magical ambience, delicious food, impeccable service, and the finest wine selection in the City.
Adjoining the renowned Bleeding Heart Yard Restaurants, the venue also plays host to stone floors, beamed ceiling and decorative stained glass windows that dates back to the 12thcentury, providing you with a wonderful location for stunning photographs.
The room hire for use of the Crypt goes directly to St. Etheldreda’s Church. Catering is served by the talented restaurant team at Bleeding Heart, and whilst we may not promise you a three day feast with Swans stuffed with larks stuffed with Sparrows - we can offer you a wonderful selection of seasonal dishes tailored by our Exec Chef Julian Marshall. 
If your numbers are on the lower end, you may find the Bleeding Heart Restaurant more suitable, with arrival drinks hosted in the Terrace Room opening out onto the cobbled yard.
We offer bespoke catering packages or leave you to be flexible with menus from £45 per person.
