Iconic, historic and refurbished, Leeds Town Hall is the ideal destination for all kinds of events, great and small.
Leeds Town Hall was built in 1858, on a site in Park Lane. It was a statement of civic pride, a reminder of the importance of Leeds as a centre of trade and commerce, and an indication of the wealth of at least some of its citizens. The building has become famous as an example of a kind of Victorian architecture that reflects the wealth, power and confidence of the age in which it was created.
The Victoria Hall offers one of the largest spaces available for hire in Leeds, perfect for a presentation to an audience of up to 1200 people or a banquet for 400 people. With seating removed, the hall can be used for a wide variety of events, including
dinners, conferences, exhibitions or dances.

Obviously depends on who is performing as to how good it is but the interior of the main hall is astonishing, particularly the organ pipes.

The town hall is a great place to see concerts and shows. The room is very ornate. Bar prices are very reasonable too

Having lived in Leeds way back in the late 60's, it was nice to come back home. A lot has changed. New offices soar into the skyline. I love how they have blended the new building in with the old.
