If I could give 0 stars I would. This hotel accepted our booking for two nights as well as parking and then failed to inform us or the travel company we booked with that the hotel was closed and had been so for months. We drove for 5 hours through what can only be described as rivers of rain water only to find the hotel locked up and with scaffolding around it. We then had to walk 25 minutes through pouring rain to get to an alternative hotel which our travel agent arranged for us. Allegedly we had been rebooked into another hotel owned by the parent company of Thistle in Charing cross which was completely unsuitable for our itinerary however neither Expedia nor ourselves or our booking company had been informed. Catastrophic failure of their booking system. I strongly suggest you phone well ahead to confirm any hotel bookings but especially with this hotel.

Love this hotel! We have stayed there three times during last three years:) The most beautiful- building, architecture and inside designs, left from the old times. It is so nice and good! People are welcoming and helpful, we had the best experience there. And the Hyde park near. Simply - the Best!:)

I can't say enough about this hotel. The entire staff was very friendly and eager to help in any way possible. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The manager Celion was especially kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend it for a great place to stay for your next trip to London

Always good service when I've been. Nice clean rooms and very friendly staff. Would always stay there when visiting London if I could afford it but well worth the price I paid

Friendly staff, but the hotel is extremely outdated. Heating and shower don't work, crack tiles in bathroom.
