We had the whole place to ourselves over the Easter weekend. We were 16 people altogether, 8 adults and 8 teenagers. A wonderful venue. We easily could have been twice that number and it wouldn't have felt crowded. Huge luxurious rooms, open fires, drawing room, multiple dining rooms to chose from, winter garden as well as the fantastic grounds . It really lends itself well to impromptu murder mystery games. The kids especially loved it, choosing their rooms and roaming the 3 floors . We had 2 meals catered, the Sunday roast was especially awesome. They made a real effort to cater to our ideas when designing the menu and provided a very welcoming and personal service. The peak district isn't far away, Bawtry the neighbouring village isn't far and 5mins away is an outdoor centre offering paint balling, axe throwing, air rifle shooting and a tree top obstacle course . Great paths for runs or walks directly from the property too.

Beautiful building and the staff were really lovely and welcoming. The only negative is the drive way once on the grounds as there are a lot of big pot holes that need filling in. Apart from that it’s a really good party venue.

We recently got married at Rossington Hall, and all I can say is the team here are amazing. Everything was easy and never any trouble and over the year we have worked along side them to make our big day happen they felt like friends. I’ve got to shout out Jayne for being the best wedding coordinator ever, she advised us on so much to make sure we didn’t waste money or opportunities and gave the best service! Also Debbie for being so lovely too, we will continue to come back and visit in the future. Such a beautiful house with a top class team working hard x

Oh dear where to start Dirty bathroom around 75 pubic hairs in bath…..was disgusting Damp room Damp bed Loose taps Shower not hot water Big gap in window letting in cold and wind MOST CONDESCENDING MANANAGER YOU COULD EVER MEET……treats you like you are a nobody and doesn’t want to lllk after hotel customers. Complain if you dare as you are just knocked down and made to feel small. Offered zero compensation even when you have to leave the hotel without even staying there because the facilities have made you feel so unwell. …..management are a disgrace and owners need telling what is really going on and organise new staff. When a bad review is left the manager Lucy Bachelor tends to reply making out you are a liar and even implies we would prefer people like you not to come to our hotel. Whatever you do don’t book a wedding here as you d only one chance to have a good day……don’t let this shower of sh#te ruin your day. Didn’t eat here in the end as we had to leave but when we saw the state of the chef we were glad we hadn’t eaten…..looked scruffy and dirty and was intimidating to us when we were trying to make a complaint about our stay. IN SHORT JUST AVOID

Went to a wedding here. There was no alcohol on tap and they were charging £5 for a 440ml can of beer. It’s £5 for 4 cans in a supermarket and no doubt they get them cheaper from their suppliers when buying in bulk. Absolute rip off.
