I am posting this about my experiences at the Harbour Hotel spa. As you walk into the lobby, the bar area is approachable, spacious and the staff are very friendly. The spa treatments have always been wonderful and I highly recommend if you are in the area or want to make a special trip. I recently had the lava shell massage and the truffle facial. My lovely therapist, Anna was highly experienced and knowledgeable. She listened to my needs (I’d had recent surgery and she adapted the treatment accordingly). Her attention to detail was superb and incredibly thoughtful. The spa manager Charmaine has always been attentive and very inclusive to the needs of others. I am looking forward to going back. Had a wonderful sleep and was so relaxed!

From first look I was impressed with the hippy & modern & rustic design from the reception till in bedroom. Then the spa was the greatest part of a one night stay here with sauna, jacuzzi and a small pool just enough to forget about the home routine. The dinner was delicious: plating, teste, and service at high quality. Larisa and Anisa, the receptionists let us a kind goodbye, but for sure we’ll come back soon here again 🤩🤩🤩🔥🔥🔥

A good and conveniently positioned hotel, the check in staff are friendly and welcoming and the rooms are clean, well presented and functional. The swim facilities are a nice feature and provide an area to relax. I ate at the Long bar & grill hotel restaurant where the food is tasty, with a varied selection and a nice setting. There is underground parking available through the hotel, you need to pull up outside check in and get a room key to use for the barriers however, I have started 3 times and each time the fob hasn’t worked for the barrier or, the locked door in the car park to access the lift meaning a walk back up and around to the main entrance. There is a call button on the intercom which I pressed for 5 minutes but it doesn’t get answered. Each time I have stayed there have been other guests with the same problem as me too so it doesn’t seem to be a one off.

The hotel itself is in a great location and is very walkable to the downtown area. The room had a good amount of space and didn’t feel too crammed. I wish there was a refrigerator inside the room and would have been nice. The size of the bathroom is rather large, but the shower is extremely small, most of the bathroom is taken by a large tub that I suspect never gets used. Overall I’d stay here again and as long as you lower your expectations a bit, you’ll have an enjoyable time here.

A very poor experience saved only by very nice staff and a great location. Lots of extra costs, parking and breakfast both well overpriced, and to have to pay £10 for 1 hour in a very disappointing spa was a shame. Multiple toenails, fake eyelashes and various grime surrounds both the jacuzzi and the plunge pool, and worst of all, when visiting the sauna there was a huge pile of drain worms crawling around the floor. When we alerted the staff to it, whilst they were very nice and apologetic, we had to ask for a refund for the spa after we would no longer use the services, which they then gave. The rooms were very outdated, we had some very dubious looking stains covering the wall in out first room, which we then asked to change. The second room was without the stains, but still rather outdated (apart from the bathrooms which were nice). As mentioned the only good thing about this hotel was the staff, who were very accommodating and cannot be blamed for these issues. With the cost of the room, parking and breakfast youre paying well over £200 a night for a hotel when ultimately you would have a similar sized and equipped room in a travelodge or premier inn for half the price. Until the huge cleanliness and hygiene issues are fixed in the spa, and the rooms are updated, i would recommend spending your money elsewhere.
