Absolutely fantastic! This was well worth driving into Manchester for. We've been to the science museum in London too and this place is vastly superior! No massive queues either which is a massive bonus. There are so many hands on things for young children to do. We went in February half term and there way a Victorian fair on. At £2 per ride it wasn't too badly priced. We also attended the rocket car building session. You have to get tickets but they're free and you keep the car. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and couldn't help enough. We arrived at 9:55 and despite not opening until 10am they let myself and my 4 year old daughter use the toilets.GOOGLE REVIEW

Nice museum is free to enter give you good information on the desk. The exhibits were interesting and had a focus on the impact of the technology on Manchester. Good balanced view on history too. The electricity exhibit was also good to see. Lots of useful info for kids and adults alike. Would very much recommend the visit. Though I think the electricity one was a temporary show.GOOGLE REVIEW

Not been to the museum for a few years and took our 4 year old daughter for her first visit. Lots of interesting facts and tales of Manchester's industries. Also a great area of interactive experiments and games, which she loved. Didn't get around all of the buildings sadly, but a great way to spend some time. Best of all it's free!GOOGLE REVIEW

Really nice museum. The upstairs has an experiment area which kids would love. Even eye opening experiments for adults too. Good family fun. Really fascinating and intriguing place. A must see if you visit Manchester.GOOGLE REVIEW

Best museum so far. Highly recommend it especially for people who love science. The first floor has many games for kids, so it is perfect for a family journey. Restrooms are super clean. However, down floor (research development art) was under maintenance which we couldn't enter unfortunately. Will absolutely visit it again.GOOGLE REVIEW
