We were booked in for New Year's eve 2023, arrival was after 3pm, our room in the main building to the rear had great view over the city. The hotel is off the beaten path, there is little to do when you get there, no other bars or shops in the local area. This is a place where a car is needed to go anywhere else. Our room was good size, the bed while a double was on the small size, there is a fridge with selection of drinks available if you want to purchase them, prices were reasonable, the on suit had a bath with shower, which was very good. The evening event was held in a semi permanent marquee in the back garden area, you have to walk either from the bar area or out and around from the main entrance. There is no cover, yes it is only a short distance, but there is a sloop going to the marquee and in wet weather or slippery shoes not the easiest way to get there. The marquee was well headed, despite the time of year, we didn't feel cold in there. The four courses of food were diligently served out, some better than others. The open bar was a very nice surprise, a nice mix of wine and traditional beers and soft drinks available. Breakfast the following morning was served in the main hotel restaurant, they do ask you to select your time to eat. Large selection of options presented, hot and cold, the full English was a bit of a let down, it wasn't cooked fresh to order, except the egg option, it was obviously already ready and plated up as requested. Would I stay again, yes if I am attending an event.

Such a lovely place to stay! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were so lovely, polite and helpful. Food was so so delicious. The bar area is cozy they have a tv in one section and offered board games. The fire was kept lit so was lovely and warm. The views were lovely also. Really enjoyed this stay, would recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend get away/reset.I liked that music was playing in the restaurant and bar area as-well. Would recommend this place and I can’t wait to return :)

Had a fantastic overnight stay at Hatton Court Hotel as a 1 night Honeymoon, we were welcomed by Sam who was very friendly & helpful we were given room 6 which is a lovely room with an amazing bath , our room was lovely with a 4 poster bed , our meals were delicious (evening meal & breakfast) Claire on reception was very friendly & helpful too . Lovely hotel definitely highly recommended
