    Enjoyed my stay here with my husband. Hotel was super nice and the staff was very friendly. Only reason I went down 1 star on location is because trying to find the parking garage that the hotel uses (also shared with the Waverley train station) was a nightmare to locate. Also the gym is nice but kind of sketchy due to all the water damage and buckets everywhere catching fluids leaking from the ceiling. The gym although is large and accommodating with a lot more equipment than expected. I think there should be a few more signs to help locate it within the hotel. There needs to be some posted by the stairs saying that it’s located on a sublevel. Half the time I couldn’t figure out if I was going in the correct direction or not. I still recommended this location and overall had a pleasant experience. Very clean and comfortable sleeping arrangements.

    I had an amazing solo getaway here. It’s convenient to the Royal Mile and is half way between the castle and palace. There’s plenty to eat within walking distance and Waverly Station as well at the City Sightseeing hop-on hop off pick up is right there. There’s a local made market on the royal mile right at this block. Only issue was construction that started at 8 am. I’m a travel agent and would recommend!

    We have stayed here numerous times, mainly because of location and it's a Hilton property. There really should be a notice on the website about the extensive remodeling underway, so as not to be surprised upon check-in. If I had known about the state of the lobby and bar area, I might not have booked here. The reception staff is hit or miss. Sometimes, we get a helpful person, sometimes not. The gentleman who checked us in was not very welcoming or helpful. Another time, I asked for an extra blanket at the front desk. One person, said No. Then, another staff member who was nearby said "of course, we can send one up to your room". As Hilton Diamond members, I would like to be appropriately recognized. We have never been successfully upgraded at check-in at this property, and we have traveled throughout Europe where our status was rewarded with an nice room upgrade. As for service, I would rate Djilali at the restaurant as outstanding, 5 star, and it is his service that led me to give the hotel overall service a 4. He was pleasant and took great care to remember me. The restaurant staff were all very good and attentive.

    Nice hotel, was under construction during our visit. Rooms were OK, beds too firm and mattress felt old. Good shower, good coffee facilities but no milk alternative availble AT ALL, which is madness these days - not very inclusive for dietary requirement. Online check in good. Great location for Old Town.
