Hotel is in a strange area with many people milling about at night or huddled in doorways. It didn’t feel very safe when walking to and from the hotel. Staff were helpful to switch me to a different room when I asked not to be in the small basement room with zero cell reception. The room I was transferred to was not very clean. The walls had dirt spots and scuffs all over it. There was a big section of water damage as well that was very unsightly. There was dust in any corner where dust might gather. Sheets and towels were clean. Staff were polite, but rather clueless. Requests for an occasional plate or extra pillow brought to be brought to the room were met with much confusion. Would not stay here again, especially for the price per night.

Good, basic hotel really near Paddington and thus handy for a large part of London. On street parking was easy to get, staff were very friendly and helpful, and hotel as a whole was well presented. Room was clean and comfortable enough, although the coffee pods hadn't been topped up, which was a pity, not a major drawback! Breakfast was well cooked and presented, if a tad on the light side. Can't really argue with the prices and location though.

Very friendly staff, well decorated inside. Very comfortable bed and nicely furnished room. Not the largest rooms, but then it's a great location in central London so you can't expect huge rooms! Easily walkable to Hyde Park and Oxford Street. Only 1 star off 5 because of the atmosphere outside from people hanging around neighbouring properties - not something that's the fault of the hotel, but a factor nonetheless.

Lovely little hidden away hotel. Staff very helpful, tidy n clean. Sycamore conference room desperately needs air conditioning on. Apart from sweating, trying give my briefing, it's a nice cosy room.

Now our preferred choice for Paddington-area hotels, and a very short walk from the station. Refurbished in 2016, the rooms are small but extremely well-appointed (we appreciated the USB ports and a great shower.) Staff were very competent and helpful, and were happy to help arrange a cab for our departure. We'll be back.
