The Old House At Home, Restaurant Area

Had our family Christmas gathering here on 27th December in their side room which was just right Unfortunately due to weather conditions (rubbish) and distances travelling we were an hour late for sitting down but they accommodated us without fuss. We'd pre ordered and all the food came out together (20 of us) that's excellent on the part of the kitchen, and hot too. Very tasty and never rushed us to leave after 4 hours. We had presents to open!! Well done and thank you xx

Service as always was great and friendly and the atmosphere in the pub is always welcoming. Visited on a Sunday with my family and was slightly disappointed this time with the roasts. Have never had an issue before so could have been a one off. The roast potatoes were quite solid and not crispy and for the price per roast paid the portions were smaller than other local pubs. My partners sticky toffee pudding looked a little dry and needed some more sauce, however the crumble was great and was able to swap custard for ice cream with no issues of additional charges.
