Regularly jump into here when travelling out of London to pass some time at Kings Cross, I've found the staff always to be friendly, service to be quick and accurate whether ordering at the bar or through the QR code on the table and the food and drink to be good. The location is perfect if you are travelling out of Kings Cross as it allows you to grab some food and drink at a reasonable price and already be in the station for your train. Boards showing the train departures are up around the place for you to keep an eye on any changes. Staff wander around the place keeping an eye out for people needing to order and can take the order and payment at the table, this combined with the ability to order through the QR code on the table means you can order without the need to even leave your seat. Good selection of drinks available so something for everyone, the food is good quality with good portion sizes. I recently ordered the kilo of chicken wings and the buffalo sauce on them really hit the spot with the wings remaining crispy under the sauce. Only challenge I would have on the menu is the absence of a chicken burger on the adult menu, generally a staple I see on most menus but the closest here was a southern fried plant burger which was out of stock when I went to order. Also a good choice on the kids menu for both starters and mains so good stop off for families. All in all, a good pub, with a nice friendly welcoming atmosphere, with good food, drink and staff.

Nice place. A bit on the temperature, cold side. The price to drink here is slightly above average. I never tried food on any visit here as only use it as a transit transfer

Good pub with nice rooms at the back that we booked. We were there for work drinks and it was pretty good can't really complain about anything. Staff were polite and efficient not really much more you can ask for.

A really good venue with many of the authentic features kept in tact. Great single glazed internal wooden walls with glazing. Food arrived very promptly and staff were friendly and efficient too. Highly recommended.

Inside Kings Cross station and hidden next to 9 3/4 platform, the location is convenient for meeting up in both small and large groups. Quite spacious and good service. Reserve in advance to avoid missing out on tables especially Friday evenings.
