We booked through booking.com who, against the hotel's rules, allowed us to book three adults to one room (which included my elderly mother who is disabled)for three nights. This meant that the third adult would be sleeping on a sofa bed (which we were aware of) but would have to pay an extra amount for their meals (we thought that the amount we paid included all three of our meals). But.. never fear, super manager Carlos, to the rescue! Although we were happy to remain in the room, Carlos was concerned that the sofa bed would not be suitable for an adult for three nights. He then gave us the option of two of us moving to a disabled room or one of us moving to another room and a more comfortable bed, meals included at no extra cost! Three cheers for Carlos! We were so impressed with his consideration for our comfort and for sorting out the issue with the cost of our meals. The rooms are so comfortable and the shower was a pleasure to use with lovely super large towels to wrap yourself in. We enjoyed our meals and the staff were very thoughtful and helpful, never making you feel a nuisance from booking in, to checking out. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much to Carlos and the staff at Holiday Inn Express, Tamworth, for making our stay a very pleasurable experience.

Nice clean reception area. Met with colleagues for a quick drink before heading out for food. Some colleagues are there with no complaints.

Amazing hotel a perfect family destination beautiful view of a lake out the front! Friendly staff, family oriented so perfect for young kids Breakfast could have been better for vegetarians, and a few problems with the room, but we enjoyed our stay! Will 100% be returning to see all our friends on the staff! Deffo recommend talking to Leigh he is very kind and couldn’t have done enough for us! Will be returning soon ☺️

Had a great stay here. Clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced also Adequate breakfast included i would have liked to see black pudding and mushrooms too as an option Staff are hardworking, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if in the Tamworth area.

Large, modern room. Great parking facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of food at breakfast. Well presented and very clean.
