Had an absolutely lovely stay here on a Sunday night. Used up a virgin experience voucher given as a Christmas gift. We were upgraded to a four-poster room, which was massive! There was scaffolding outside the window, which we weren't warned about, and the worker on Monday morning got a surprise 😁. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of storage space and a comfortable sofa to relax on. The prosecco I'd requested was chilled and waiting for us on arrival. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We booked an evening meal. The lamb rump was delicious. The chicken Caesar salad was good too, but far too many croutons for her liking! Our waiter was attentive and chatty (a chap with hearing aids) and made sure everything was OK. Breakfast was very tasty, especially the smashed avocado. The full English looked very good too. All in all, it was an excellent experience that I would recommend.

This place is an absolute gem of a find. The staff have been so friendly. Our room is lovely. The bed is super comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious. The location for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds, is perfect. We have had two relaxing nights here and toured the Cotswolds on our motorbikes during the day. And we've thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Can't fault a single thing. Thank you for hosting us :)

We didn’t put high hopes on British pub food when we walked in Snooty fox at Tetbury, this restaurant amazed us in every dish. The spicy hake is tender inside but crispy on the skin. The chicken kiv is probably the best I ever had, it is very juicy and moist! Definitely want to come back again

Had a lovely stay in a superior room. Very comfortable with a great shower, comfy bed and soft towels. There were stairs in the room from the entrance area to the bed and bathroom. Had breakfast and dinner and all was lovely although they ran out of sourdough bread at breakfast which was on quite a few menu options. Staffwere efficient and friendly. The bill was wrong when we checked out, we were over charged but it was quickly rectified. Parking is along the road and is separate from the hotel. Nice location, would stay again if in the area.

If we could give a minus star for service we would. Ventured in at 10am Not one of two staff on reception even acknowledged us. I asked if morning coffee and pastries were being served. Blank looks. The woman simply walked away. The man pointed to a bar and said blankly 'We have 2 cakes'. He then walked away. Left us in bar and that was that. How do businesses with staff like this survive?. My guess is they won't for long. Get a grip
