Across the road from St. James's Park tube station, the 256-room Conrad St James occupies six floors of a handsome old government building that was converted in 2012. Showcasing some attention-grabbing art, its appeal spans business and leisure, and makes it an attractive venue for seasonal celebrations. With black banquette seating, and dark wood all around, the in-house Blue Boar restaurant has a suitably wintry feel. Its sister bar is similarly snug and has serious vintage appeal, thanks to leather chesterfields, tartan cushions and displays of old gin bottles. Emmeline's lounge is the place for drinks receptions.

February 2024Incredible place to stay. Felt so welcome from the start. They put complimentary champagne and chocolates in our room. Close to the city and well connected. Clean and stylish bedrooms. Staff looked after us and always came back to clean room. Only thing is the breakfast is expensive - £35 per person. Can go up the road 10 min walk to Pimlico high street and get two great full English’s with coffee that costs £25 for both. Also was going to get room service but £19 for a club sandwich is overpriced. Will 1000% be staying here again. But not getting the food as not good value.

March 2024Excellent from start to finish, great location and short walk from Westminster and across the road from St James underground station. Everything was 5 * as you’d expect, service was faultless, room was excellent and we stayed in a family room and my daughter loved her bed with London buses on the cover. Certainly return.

February 2024I’m a 28 year old guy who stayed at the Conrad on a business trip. The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to my office as well as public transportation. I don’t think it is possible to be closer to a central tube station. A good selection of restaurants and even partnered with a nearby pub. As it is a corporate area, expect to pay a premium at local bars and restaurants. Rooms were a bit dated but Overall was pleased with my stay.

February 2024One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at (globally), have had great experiences at all the Conrad’s I’ve stayed at. You are made felt special the moment you step foot on the premises, and the staff is amazing and so supportive. The executive lounge was small, but the food was good and the offerings were sufficient.
