August 2019A nice traditional pub for everyone. Great food, friendly service and a homely atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and not impatient with tourists with poor english speaking skills. The best burger I have had in a long time and the haddock was great too. We will come back when we visit Edinburgh again.

September 2019Nice mix of locals and folk in local hotels.Food was usual pub fayre with very attentive bar staff that checked a few times through our meal. Served and billed at the table - not ordering at the bar which I liked.

August 2019Funeral tea, very nice selection of sandwiches and pastries. Plenty refills of coffee and tea. Staff excellent pleasant helpful and attentive. Doggy bags given out to take away food. Nice atmosphere, quiet due to awful weather. Highly recommend
