a fabulous stay with amazing staff, especially Francesco in the breakfast room! a couple of things though. The brass work in the lifts was extremely grubby and should be dealt with. from the breakfast room windows it was clear the window surroundings and brickwork are in dire need of cleaning. the price of drinks in the bar we do feel is excessive especially as there is a service charge for each round! it's a beautiful hotel though and we will return

I had a wonderful stay. The building and interior are beautiful. The staff were accommodating. My room was of a good standard; comfortable and clean. I especially enjoyed my time in the lobby bar and can recommend the cocktail 'The King's Tipple'.

Stayed at the grand the other night. Was treated by pleasant staff who were polite and helpful staff. The bar area is very nice as well. Our room was good but for the price that was paid I think it’s unacceptable to have two single beds pushed together to make a double and it did definitely make the experience less enjoyable. And in the morning from 9:30 the radiators were very loud which was irritating while getting ready to check out. Would stay again if those issues can be sorted.

Lovely stay with work. Nice big spacious room. The staff was welcoming and even had a warm welcome cookie. Nice sea view when enjoying breakfast, the restaurant staff was tentative and served a nice breakfast.. Short walk to the shops. Would recommend.

Great location for accessing the main sites of Brighton. Service was lovely throughout, especially breakfast. Had an issue with the shower that was sorted by some money off the final bill. Also the remote didn't work properly, I couldn't switch the TV off instantly. It would go off after a few minutes when I had pressed the standby button and then switched on again a minute or so after. Weird.
