Very good hotel. Amazing stay! The team is professional and courteous at all times. The bed was comfortable, room clean with all the necessary amenities in it. Will be coming back with my family for the pool soon, as this time didn’t manage to use it. Thank you!

This hotel is slightly off the beaten track but it was a great stay. A great venue for a conference and the staff were fantastic. Special mention to Nick and Zara who were both extremely helpful throughout my stay.

The staff on check-in were welcoming & the room was clean. The WhatsApp contact is a great idea, we used it to contact reception to amend our booking for the pool. The family room we stayed in needs an upgrade - there are no plug sockets anywhere near the beds, & there are still the old phone line sockets. The toilet was about a foot off the floor, which was a bit of a problem as we are all tall. When in the bath, it is not possible to reach the shower gel dispenser. I asked if it was possible to have an extra pillow, & was told it would be sorted. An hour later, I asked again & was told it might not be possible as there weren't any available?! Two hours after that, someone arrived at the door with a pillow. Breakfast was fine, usual buffet stuff. Sadly no decaf latte in the hot drinks machine, I always live in hope! We asked for brown sauce but we're told by a member of staff that they don't have it - yet they had barbecue sauce, which seemed rather odd. My partner asked the same member of staff for a bowl for his yoghurt - she told him that breakfast finishes at 9am & reluctantly fetched him one (it was 9am but we had been there since 8.15am) Others had just arrived & sat down with their hot food, the buffet was all still out, nothing had been cleared away, so we didn't feel that the comment was necessary. The pool is a good extra, however the hairdryer in the changing room is pointless. Not a bad place to stay if you are in the area, but could be better.

Our floor was soaked when we stayed in Novotel Milton Keynes. I reported it straight away to the night staff. I called front desk from my phone and there was no answer as I think he was doing his rounds. Luckily I caught him in the hall where he offered to move our room. But with my 7 and 5 yr old sleeping and with me being the only adult, it wasn't much of an option. Plus it was 1230 in the morning, if you wake up kids then they would be up all night. Not much consideration from staff. Been trying to get a hold of manager or supervisor but it seems like no one wants to deal with me when all I want is compensation for the trouble we were in. After all I shouldn't have had to deal with that at a certain time of the night. Hotel is nice enough and breakfast staff did really well. 75% of my stay was enjoyable but obviously not this. I shouldn't have to chase people around when they've promised to call and email me. I wouldn't stay here again in the off chance this happens again and there's no one to talk to.
