The Salt Room, The Private Dining Room

Voted the Seafish Restaurant of the Year in 2017, The Salt Room is a modern British seafood restaurant on the Brighton seafront. Boasting views of the iconic West Pier, the restaurant is ideally located from all Brighton locations, including the popular wedding ceremony venue, The Bandstand. The Salt Room offers flexible dining for 10 - 120 guests in their light-filled main dining room, mezzanine, private dining room and terrace. There is also an award winning cocktail bar, which is the perfect place for drinks and canapé receptions.

Available for private hire seven days a week, The Salt Room has been used for corporate functions for companies like Virgin, Samsung, and Reebook, as well as private wedding celebrations. The restaurant can seat up to 90 guests inside, with further seating for 50 guests on the outdoor terrace. The private dining room can seat up to 16. The venue is perfect for those looking for a stunning venue with a focus on excellent food. There is no venue hire charge for any dates; instead, event organisers are asked to meet easily reachable minimum spends which means that every event is entirely bespoke, with the food and drink offering that works for you.

The private dining room boasts floor to ceiling windows and is a beautiful light filled room with views of the seafront. Separated from the rest of the restaurant by thick curtains, guests have the choice to either close the curtains for more privacy or keep them open to soak up the atmosphere of the restaurant. The room can seat up to 14 guests on one table and 16 on two tables. The room is available seven days a week, and there are two group dining menus to choose from with bespoke menus available upon request.
