Great venue for a more formal and traditional wedding. Some beautiful gardens with unique photo opportunities.

Beautiful venue for weddings or simply to visit and walk around. We're due to be married there in 9 months and the staff have, so far, been nothing but friendly, helpful and professional. Everyone else we've spoken to has said the same.

Beautiful surroundings, great staff. The gardens are sumptuous. Facilities like bathrooms etc., were impeccable in cleanliness and maintained well. The artworks were unexpected to me, as I hadn't had time to do background research before coming, but I was taken aback by some of the works. Access for larger vehicles, like coaches, should ideally, be researched in advance; as some access roads are narrower than is optimal, and have tight 90° bends. A very enjoyable day (despite a reasonable amount of rain). I would recommend this to those who are wanting a tasteful and culturally rich experience, that looks and feels like a classical England of past times.
