Bristol Students' Union, The Anson Rooms Bar

Situated in one of the most vibrant cities and best-known universities in the UK, Bristol SU offers a wide range of spaces for a variety of event needs. Whether you would like to host a conference, live performance or meeting, we have the space for you.

The Richmond Building is the home of Bristol SU and our spaces. Situated on Queens Road in Clifton, the Richmond Building is easily accessible to the city centre and other areas of the city via car, foot, and bus.

In 2015, the Richmond building opened after a £30 million revamp and now offers a large event space in the Anson Rooms, two theatres, two bars and a variety of multi-purpose activity rooms. It is a unique facility within the city that offers a wide range of spaces to meet the needs of any event.

An incredibly versatile space, the Anson Rooms Bar is situated adjacent to the Anson Rooms providing it with a bar for all manner of events. It can be opened up as part of the main Anson Rooms space or closed for more intimate events. Equipped with its own small stage and lighting it is ideal for talks, open mic and comedy nights.

Also with a built in projector and screen it is the perfect break out space for conferences and away days.

The bar can be opened on request and is subject to a minimum spend.
