Cancellation policy

We The Curious may immediately cancel the Event and terminate the Contract without liability to the Hirer if: a) the Hirer fails to make any payment when due under the Contract; or b) the Hirer breaches any other material Condition of the Contract; or c) the Hirer becomes unable to pay its debts as they fall due or enters into liquidation, administration or bankruptcy. Subject to Condition 3.3, in the event of cancellation or termination (whether by We The Curious pursuant to Condition 3.1 or by the Hirer), We The Curious will retain or charge the Hirer as follows: a) if the Event is cancelled more than 10 weeks before the date of the Event, We The Curious will retain the deposit but the Hirer will not be liable to pay the balance of the charge; b) if the Event is cancelled less than 10 weeks before the date of the Event, We The Curious will retain the deposit and any invoice(s) for the balance of the charge shall become due immediately; c) in any event, the Hirer shall be liable to reimburse We The Curious for any losses reasonably incurred as a result of the cancellation. If the Event is cancelled by We The Curious as a result of Force Majeure, We The Curious will return any amounts paid by the Hirer for the hire of the Venue and the Hirer will not be liable to pay any outstanding balance. For the avoidance of doubt, We The Curious shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses which arises from cancellation of the Event due to Force Majeure. Any termination of the Contract shall be without prejudice to any rights or remedies that may have accrued to We The Curious prior to termination.
