Designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, neighbourhood favourite Daphne’s continues to shine like a beacon amid the Chelsea restaurant scene, nestling amongst the beautiful Brompton Cross shops including J Crew, Joseph, Chanel and the Conran Shop. The restaurant, bar and conservatory (private room) are vibrant and inviting and have been designed with the colour palettes of Italy firmly in mind. Daphne's appeal lies not only in its seasonal cooking, but also its natural warmth and effortless Italian charm, making it a favourite amongst the residents of Chelsea and visitors from further afield.

The elegant surroundings of the Daphne’s conservatory can accommodate up to 40 guests for a private lunch or dinner or 50 for drinks and canapés, and it is licensed to host wedding and civil ceremonies. In summer, the bright conservatory creates an alfresco feel with its retractable roof; in winter, a blazing fire in the open range turns it into an intimate retreat. Head Chef Michael Brown creates seasonal menus especially for private events in the conservatory that highlight the best of each season’s produce. The room comes with candles and place cards.

Delicious food and fantastic atmosphere. The waiting and bar staff were brilliant as well as the super sweet lady welcoming you into the restaurant in the green. On a negative note, I appreciate the lady at the reception desk was busy but at venues with such high calibre one must learn to suppress stress and not wave away customers in a rude panic because your otherwise occupied by a phone call.

When u can’t be bothered to cook and you want some real nice flavour home cooked food, eat here!! The best Jamaican food shop I taste in years!! Complements to the chef! Food is cooked with love. If I could give more stars I would!

My first visit to Daphne's, and I FINALLY understand all the fuss. The restaurant had a very classy, old-school vibe thanks to the atmosphere and service. The service was also excellent! But, more importantly, there's the food.

Great service and atmosphere, although the food was good without being exceptional. I had the Crab Linguine for main and Chocolate Mousse for dessert; both lacked punch in terms of flavour and the linguine lacked seasoning. I’d definitely visit again, but choose something with stronger flavours.

Really overpriced for the experience. The staff were attentive, and the cocktails were great, but my party all agreed that the food was nothing exceptional. They have a reasonable selection for vegetarians and vegans on a separate menu, but the main menu is very meat heavy and just not that exciting. We also ordered a starter to share between three people and it came with one very small piece of bread... If you don't go out to 'fancy' places very often you might enjoy the novelty. But if you're looking for amazing food, there are so many other better places in London.
