The Birmingham Contemporary Art Gallery is so much more than just an art gallery and it certainly is an out-of-the-ordinary venue to host your next event. With the vision to challenge the barriers and perceptions in our society that can prevent people with creative ability from realising their potential and getting their work seen and heard, whether it’s as a result of education, socio-economic reasons, physical or mental health or not having the right contacts to access available opportunities, you’re sure to organise very special moments here.

Located just by the canal and just a 20 minute walk from the very city centre, you won’t have to travel far to get to this gallery available for hire in Birmingham. The surrounding area offers plenty of people- and boat watching opportunities. The gallery is situated on the Utilita Arena complex (formerly NIA and Arena Birmingham) and occupies 1500 sqft with a roof terrace running the entire length of the gallery, measuring 88,5ft by 6,5ft. The building is a triangular glass building, meaning you’ll get both fantastic views and lots of natural light flooding the venue when the sun is out.

The gallery is perfect to hire for events such as private parties, networking events, corporate functions, book and product launches, workshops and pop up events. Anything that requires a truly unique space is perfect to host here.

As an art gallery, generally art will be hanging, which offers a sophisticated and elegant setting to any event, however, if more of a blank canvas is required, all the interior panels are movable.
