Went for Sunday lunch. Disappointed to be served a flat Yorkshire pudding and new potatoes. Apparently the chef was off and their replacement didn't know how to make roast potatoes! Service was great and did make up somewhat for the disappointing roast.

Terribly disappointing. This place used to be excellent but sadly the current chef doesn't know how to cook Sunday roast. We ordered roast pork and got something more like boiled ham, wrinkly new potatoes not roast potatoes, and cabbage so heavily salty it was Inedible. The veggie roast used to be great too, but we got a strange grainy mixture in soggy pastry that was half raw. Very bad to be charging these prices for such poor food. On the plus side the staff are pleasant and friendly.
