This hotel in amazing. Everything is clean and beds are comfortable. Showers are extremely small; I'm 5,3" and size 8-10 and managed to bruise elbows while washing hair. However enjoyed the large TV, hot drinks, biscuits and comfortable seats in the room. The breakfast was phenomenal. Great for allergies with a helpful evening meal menu. Good vegan and vegetarian options. Convenient and free parking. Felt safe in the room and safety catch on the room door. Beautiful decoration for Christmas in lobby.

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and nice. Very expensive food at dinner time… not a big choice of food at breakfast, but you can ask staff if they can provide some other options like boiled eggs or vegetarian/vegan sausage. SPA - my experience is not the best. First of all the treatment supposed to be 50 minutes, but it was only 35. My husband was more happy with his treatment.

A pleasant place as a hotel, particularly for families with children. However, if you’re looking for a tranquil spa break then the kid packed pool squealing and splashing from 2:30-6 might not be what you have in mind. While it says on the site that kids are allowed between these times, I wasn’t expecting swimming lessons to be underway the whole duration and in general quite noisy around the pool. The chemicals in the jacuzzi are quite strong which doesn’t feel the nicest (can sting your eyes). The rooms are nice with a comfy bed and large TV (although not a smart tv). The bathrooms could do with a refresh & in general the place needs a fresh lick of paint. The gym facilities are nice and all staff have been extremely friendly and helpful so I couldn’t fault them!!

The location of the hotel was great and staff were friendly. There’s lots of free parking available on site. However some of the amenities were not as expected. The pool and spa facilities seem very outdated; the changing rooms need an upgrade; they were very cold, some showers weren’t working and one of the changing rooms had a huge panel missing up on the ceiling. Another let down was that I’d made a reservation at the restaurant and wasn’t informed until I got there that they were only offering a limited festive menu - which wasn’t at all mentioned upon booking online.

This hotel was ok, nothing special, lots of young waiting staff no management visible. Had a disappointing spa experience, apart from my actual treatment which was lovely. The spa itself was very disappointing. The female changing rooms were in a poor state. Water was dripping through the tiles on the ceiling right on top of us as we were changing. The relaxation room was a joke with 3 loungers, no music, no water, no heating apart from a 3 legged small plug-in heater. There was a treatment room just off this which was being used as storage for clean/dirty towels and an employee dragging trolleys full of said linen through the relaxation room apologising as he went to and fro. This was anything but relaxing. We decided to go out into the pool area which was a big mistake. So many people crowded into a small space, nowhere to sit and no staff in sight. Really can’t understand why they have the word spa in the title. We had a light lunch included in the spa deal and waited 45 mins for someone to clear our table before dessert. No one did so we left. Feel this hotel could do better if they had a management team in place as not fair to leave it all to the youngsters to sort out. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was chaotic. We were told to just go find a table ourselves as it was so busy 🤷🏼‍♀️
