The Natural Philosopher, Main Bar Area

The Natural Philosopher has been East London's hidden gem since 2015. Set inside a working Apple Mac repair shop, the space is an overgrown jungle of antiques, art and plants.

Open 7 days a week, the venue is the perfect setting for a wide variety of gatherings and celebrations. Please note WE DO NOT have a kitchen and therefore are unable to offer food. Private hires are permitted to bring their own food or we can suggest a catering company for canapés.

Also note that we are unable to accommodate DJ's with our license, but if hiring the full venue guests can play their own music via a Spotify or Deezer playlist. Also being on a main road we do not have any outside space.

Our partial hire option, which provides you with exclusive access to our 'Main bar Area', can host up to 33 seated and up to 35 standing.

Perfect for those looking to celebrate birthdays, office parties, Christmas parties and leaving do's.

We don't charge a hire fee but instead work with a minimum spend system. Minimum spend is subject to the timings of bookings and which days of the week the hire is for. We're happy to work within budgets where possible!

We offer drinks packages to those looking to put a tab behind the bar for office parties, networking or special events, otherwise drinks are paid for individually via bar service.
